TREC inspections, that is, inspections for a house sale by a licensed inspector.
If you are buying a house, I must advise you to get a TREC inspection first. I
can then inspect any issues the inspector brings up, and any others of concern to
you.
Mold evaluation. I can advise you on the source of the moisture causing the mold.
How much do I charge?
For a foundation or structural evaluation, including inspection and advice, no written
report, in Houston, usually consisting of about an hour on site, I charge $160.
Half hour or less is $100.
After the first hour I charge $100 per hour, whether inspecting or report writing.
Outside of Houston I may charge more for the first hour, depending on distance.
A one page report normally takes an hour to write and charged at $100.
Real estate sales inspections carry more risk and work and I charge more.
Certifications carry more risk and work and I charge more.
Expert witness and legal work charged at higher rates.

I do the inspection, I don’t send out a technician or assistant.
It is important to me that my services are worth to you what I am charging. If you
don’t think you have gotten your money’s worth, we can discuss that issue.
